Monument portraits and memorials

All prices quoted are EX-OUR WORKS, packing included.

Your placement of an order constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

DELIVERY TIME:
- Monument Portraits : maximum 10 working days;
- New 3 Dimensional porcelain memorial products : 15-20 working days;
- Bronze articles : maximum 10 working days;
- Bronze statues : maximum 50 working days;
- Sculptures in white Carrara marble & in Vicenza stone : from 40 to 50 working days;
- Articles made of white synthetic marble : 20 working days.
- Porcelain Plaques & Statues: 10 working days.
- Stainless Steel: 10 working days.

Our offices are closed for ten days during the Christmas and New Years day holidays and for three weeks during the month of August for the annual summer vacation.

PAYMENT:
All “wholesale price” are available only on a “cash with order” basis.
For the statuary, we request the payment of the 30% of the total amount of the purchase in advance at the time of the order and the balance by bank transfer in the name of Rossato Giovanni S.r.l. on notice that the goods are ready to be shipped.
In case of missing payment, the orders will not be considered valid.

TRANSPORT:
When possible and unless contrary instructions of the customer we send parcels and small crates by express cou- rier. We are submitting you the costs that we will charge you to mail our porcelain pictures in different sizes and shapes :

• Photo-ceramic size up to cm 18x24 (7.08”x9.44”) EUROPEAN COUNTRIES € 8,00 each up to a maximum charge of € 32,00
• Photo-ceramic size up to cm 18x24 (7.08”x9.44”) EXTRA EUROPEAN COUNTRIES € 16,00 each up to a maximum charge of € 64,00
• Photo-ceramic size up to cm 18x24 (7.08”x9.44”) U.S.A./CANADA US$ 13,00 each up to a maximum charge of US$ 52,00
• Photo-ceramic size up to cm 18x24 (7.08”x9.44”) FAR EAST US$ 25,00 each up to a maximum charge of US$ 100,00
• For all bigger sizes or different articles, shipping charges will be at cost (a quote will be submitted on re- quest)

The use of an express courier (in this case “U.P.S.” or “FedEx”) guarantee us a safe and punctual service, as well as with the tracking number we have the possibility to check the parcel in transit .
This service allows you to have the certainty to receive the item and relative document in pre-arranged time, more- over the short transit time reduce the possibility to damage and breaking the items sent.
The alternative is to send back photo-ceramics and original photos through the National post service and accept the delivery times not always respected.
In the event that you decide to NOT use the express couriers above mentioned, we ask to communicate your deci- sion and we will send back your orders by National post service. Shipping charges as above mentioned.
In absence of indication we will send back your order using the same forwarder shipper used.

Large crates will be sent by truck - by sea or by air depending on the destination and customer’s urgency.
Our price lists and estimates are for packaged material. In our final offer, we indicate the costs of transportation as well as those for insurance. We supply the client with a precise indication of the complete cost of the purchase C.I.F. and delivery to the nearest port or directly to the customer’s premises, insurance included.
All shipments & deliveries are sent signature required (no P.O. Box deliveries).
C.I.F. is the acronym for Cost Insurance Freight, international abbreviation (INCOTERM) which means that the buyer has to pay all customs duties, taxes, official charges and the charges for the fulfillment of the customs for- malities regarding the goods.

INSURANCE:
The merchandise is checked before packing. We guarantee that the goods are in perfect condition and that they respond exactly to the quality and safety requirements.
We cannot respond or accept responsibility for the damages occurred during transportation or because of negli- gence of others.
The goods shipped out by mail or by express courier are not insured; on the other hand, those sent by truck, by sea or by air are covered by the insurance. The insurance fee is included in the C.I.F. port of arrival (C.I.F.= Cost of material + insurance + freight).
Upon receiving the merchandise, we recommend that the client checks the contents of the packing and,
if damage is noted, that he contacts the shipping company IMMEDIATELY in order to notify the problem. We would like to receive a copy of all the documentation regarding the damage too.
If possible, take a photo when you uncrate it – after noting the damage on the bill of lading.
It is always a good idea to sign the delivery documents with a “We reserve the right to check the material” clause. We recommend you to check the goods immediately and, in case of damage, to keep both the packing as well as the damaged goods in order to permit the insurance company to examine the damage and authorize the payment due.
The shipping company will need to know the exact damage to the merchandise.
In any case, we suggest you to not return the material (unless you have written authorisation); in fact, the ex- penses would increase with the new shipping.

VARIOUS:
Orders passed over the phone need to be confirmed on paper.
The prices indicated in our price list are valid unless otherwise modified.
The clients from European Community must communicate us their V.A.T. number (or T.V.A.) if their com- pany is V.A.T. registered.
All the measurements presented in this web site are approximate and all the models are subjected to changes. All the illustrated articles are protected by the copyrights, legally recognized all over the world. Each attempt to violate these rights will be punished with a legal action under the Italian law.
Once the client places an order, it is understood that he/she accepts the above mentioned conditions.
In case of contestation, the contract shall be governed by the Italian law (Court of Vicenza).
